This place does everything well. The Shiro Wot was rich and satisfying, and the special Special Kitfo was sparklingly flavorful. House of Tadu also has the best veggie combo in town. Delicious, every bite!

My favorite Ethiopian restaurant in the Bay Area! The owners are so kind and very hospitable to kids and families. The food is excellent, especially the Lamb Tibs, Vegetarian Combination, and Sambussa (4 Pieces). Location is fun and easy to get to with parks nearby. Restaurant is clean and inviting.

Amazing. The best Ethiopian food in SF. the kitfo is generously portioned and delicious, and the beef Berbere is so tangy and rich. I love that they soak pieces of injera in it too.

I've had eaten in a number of ethiopian restaurants in a number of cities and in varios countries. This one ranked the lowest. The injera beard had wheat flour mixed in (should be teff only) and wasn't fermented long enough. The dishes lacked authentic flavour. Disappointed.

I love chicken Tibs but I found Tadu's Chicken Tibs very salty and less tasty. Also not much chicken which I wouldn't mind if the taste was there. I also didn't like the tea which tasted off with an undertaste of gasoline. But maybe this is normal and the taste isn't for me?
