Taiko has always had the best sushi in the area! The vegetarian rolls are awesome.

Literally just ordered from the one restaurant that was open and close to me, and was totally blown away. Excellent roll with fresh fish and perfectly balanced flavors. Excellent ramen with perfectly chewy noodles and savory broth. Good mix of toppings for the ramen. No notes!

Sea Steak Nigiri was incorrect because restaurant no longer carries it. They tried to sear maguro and over seared it. No garnishment. Rice on Rocky Roll and Natomas Roll was not normal. Fell apart each piece we ate. Provided a small serving of Miso Soup. Not anywhere near the quality and serving size we are used to. Have been enjoying Taiko Sushi for years but something has changed. Not to mention sushi rolls that once use to be around $10 now being sold for $20. Ordered two rolls, two pieces of Ebi and two pieces of Sea Steak with Miso Soup and Combo Tempura for $90. Crazy. Time to look elsewhere for us.

It's a shame that this restaurant has such good tasting food but a problem with consistency. This time we ordered three rolls, and garlic edamame. On one of the rolls 3/4 did not have any fish on top. Another roll only had the eel in the center. Not sure if they're trying to cut costs, but they forget that the people who get delivery are also their customers who sit in the dining room. Three strikes. We will opting for a different location for sushi from now on.

Love their sushi! And it's fresh! House special and crunch roll is my favorite.
