• 4/17/25I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Box, Pork Bun 'Fried', Chicken Tempura Roll, Gyoza, and the Fried Noodles. Let me start off by the pork bun Fried. I highly recommend it. it's very delicious. I was not expecting that at all. the bento box was very yummy, fresh, and delicious as well. this was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint at all everything was so fresh. I recommend you try this place ASAP. I promise you'll not be disappointed this place is now in my top 3 Japanese restaurants in rochester. So far, I'll definitely be ordered and / or going there to eat again. Thank you so much, Taisho Bistro, for the time for a google review 😊

• 4/4/24Ordered Shrimp Yaki Soba or Udon and I don't remember reading that it includes mushrooms so be cautious. Kamikaze Roll is very delicious although I can barely taste the spiciness. The mango sauce pairs well with the rolls. You get a lot of food for the price so that was a big plus.

• 8/23/25The Katsu Don was crispy and tasted fine, but the egg over the rice was too runny which made the rice too mushy. The Grilled Steak tasted great, but the portion size was roughly 3-4 oz of meat. The Gyoza were fine, but could've been cooked for just a bit longer to get a crust and cook the meat better. Overall the price isn't bad.

• 2/10/24The Katsu Curry was pretty bland, the curry thin with just 3 chunks of potato in it. The Takoyaki was tasty and gooey in the middle, very soft overall. I haven't seen it available in other restaurants, so it was a nice surprise to be able to order it. The Steak & Shrimp came with veggies, noodles and rice and was also good. Meals came with utensils and sauces.

• 1/31/24I order sushi a lot. This was not good. The Kani Salad was bland. The Meteor Tuna was also bland and the spicy sauce (wasabi mayo) was almost sweet and sticky. They also only included 3 soy packets for 4 items. Delivery was fast and friendly.
