Omg this is our favorite Indian since moving out of SF!! We're obsessed with the Saag Chana and Chicken Tikka Kebab every order. Just tried the Lamb Bhuna and loved it! Meats are always so tender! We order enough for several meals. We even tried a goat our first visit and really enjoyed that. Thank you for serving such amazing food!!

The food is always delicious. I always get the Veggie Chicken Tikka Masala EVERYTIME. Also the Aloo Gobi. Both are so yummy. It's a little pricey for the sizes that you get but, once you taste it, it all makes sense. Lol!

the Punjabi Lemon Chicken was excellent, mildly spicy and tangy. Perfecy portion for a full meal and plenty of leftovers for the next day. And I always have to get naan and Cucumber Raita to share with the table. Everything tastes fresh and made to order, nothing being served out of a big pot made hours prior. I've been dining at Taj Grill since I moved to Vallejo about 5 years ago, and they have NEVER let me down!!

First time ordering Taj Grill. Definitely will be ordering from here in the future.
Got the Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, & Peas Pulao.
Absolutely delicious, the Pulao though a fried dish was not super greasy. The Tikka was perfectly spiced and well balanced. I could have used a bit more heat. That's personal preference though. If anything your average consumer would probably think it perfect or over spicy. The Naan was out of this world definitely fresh and again not overly greasy. Really enjoyed the fact they didn't go heavy handed with the salt in any of the dishes, as many places tend to do.
The portions for what I got made it possible for 2 people to have a fulfilling meal without being too much, or super heavy.
Look forward to trying the Tikka prawns, and samosas in the future.
All in all will order again and recommend to anyone in V-town looking for legit delicious Indian food.

Sooooo good! Taj Grill is my very favorite Vallejo restaurant over all, and possibly the very best Indian food. Well prepared, fresh, quality ingredients; flavors well balanced, generous portions. Terrific menu selection.
For this meal I enjoyed the Bhature Chole as an appetizer — whole chickpeas cooked slightly al dente in a rich sauce, served with delicate deep-fried bread (fun to eat!); Tandoori Mix Grill of lamb and chicken, served with the wonderfully complex flavors of their onions marinated with aromatic green mango chutney; a most velvety Saag Paneer with paneer cubes that had an enjoyable, bouncy mouth feel; and THE VERY BEST Cucumber Raita — the spices Taj Grill uses make it so much more flavorful than any other raita I've ever had.
The Taj Grill staff are warm and welcoming, and very attentive. It's a joy dining at the restaurant, but being able to have this quality of food delivered to my door was also very satisfying. Yay!
