The go to place for sushi for me! Tried all the others in Clinton and Takara is my favorite. Always the BEST service with a smile.

the S8. Dynamite Roll and Louisiana Roll ALWAYS is a good choice. the dumplings (both pork and shrimp) are always pan-fried/steamed to perfection! never a bad experience at this establishment. they put a lot of effort into their craft, and the customer service is always notably impressive.

Couldn't finish the whole plate,  I'd probably add extra shrimp next time. The clear soup was very nostalgic to me, everything came hot and ready and there was plenty of crab Rangoons for the price, would do again!!Cheese Wonton Clear Soup Shrimp Fried Rice

Takara is one of our favorite restaurants. The owners are extrmely kind and the customer service is impeccable. Today ate on a budget, but I always get the hibachi with salmon and shrimp, a suggestion given to me by one of their amazing chefs when Takara used to have the hibachi grills open. I've been a weekly customer ever since undergrad, and 10 years later I still go every  Wednesday.

I was very dissapointed that there was so little of the fried rice compared to the price.  The rolls I ordered were delicious.  Thank you.
