I can't put into words how much I loved this food!! Growing up a friend of mine's mother would make us palek paneer with poori.. I haven't been able to find a restaurant that matched what she use to make for us (or one that had poori in general) until now! Absolute PERFECTION!

Portions of the Channa Masala are really good. Flavor is great. Didn't get my side of chutney for the Ethnic Sampler :/ Still a pretty good deal

I don't usually write reviews but the chicken 555 Biryani was delicious! I could see they used whole spices for enhanced flavor, Mark of good biriyani. The chicken was also seasoned well. The fried nuts on biriyani was something new for me but I liked it.

Sambhar and the chutneys were really good with the dosa. Expected better quantity for the Manchurian - Gobi Manchurian but nonetheless a very good restaurant.

We are loyal Tamarind customers. We really love their food. My only complaint is they provide much less rice with orders than other similar restaurants in the area.
