Punjabi Tikhe Kabab was amazing. Huge pieces of chicken, perfectly tender and juicy with a good amount of spice. Vegetable Samosa was also good, although nothing to write home about. Downsides: very expensive. However, for a once in a while treat, this is the best Indian food I've had in NYC and I do feel the portion sizes are appropriate with generous servings of chicken at least on the dish I ordered, so the price is justifiable for a once-in-a-while treat.

Chicken was great but way too expensive for just chicken no rice or side dish. 40$ for a medium size Tupperware is insane

Ordinarily I give Tamarind 5 stars whether dining in or delivery but this time wasn't my best experience. The dal wasn't tasty at all, the raita wasn't well seasoned and the mint chutney was bitter. I will certainly give them another chance. Hope it was an off night.

Bhel puri wasn't even mixed it seemed like store bought bhel and 2 chutneys which I had to mix and incorporate. No potatoes, other veggies. Overpaid for this!

Food was barely edible. The korma sauce did not have even basic ingredients like salt. Very disappointing.
