I had been looking long and far for proper good sushi (that also doesn't break the bank) in Perth, and finally I found it. Tao cafe absolutely has the best sushi in town. It is fresh and amazing. And for the ones interested in going to the restaurant instead of doordashing - the menu is even bigger in the restaurant than online.

Average BunXao, had at Vic Park Tao previously and it was lovely and light and fresh. This one from Innaloo - photo is taken of the noodles I didn't eat. Was mostly a big bowl of noodles and just seemed heavier

The pine fried rice has gone downhill. The ricewas over cooked/mushy, next to no pineapple (I couldn't find or taste one piece!), barely any cashews, and had a funny smell - didn't smell fresh. Not nice tasting and a total ripoff for $27. Such a shame, this used to be one of my favourite dishes.

Generous portion sizes, fresh and tasty. Sorry no pic of actual tobiko roll - pretty much swallowed that whole. Will 100% order again, did not disappoint! Pic of katsu chicken on menu doesn't do it justice

My sister ordered the Chicken Teriyaki witha serve of white rice. She said it was terrible"but the rice was ok".I wasn't very hungry so i ordered a Miso soup Japanese style and Curry Puffs. The soup was very ordinary and the seaweed in it was outright unpleasant. The Curry puffs were small, undercooked, lukewarm, and not all that tasty.
