The Spicy Shrimp Burrito and peanut salsa are about as close to perfection as anything on earth can ever come close to. The shrimp are plump and fresh and flavorful. The peanut salsa is HOT. SO HOT. It's beautiful. Definitely my favorite burrito in town.

I hate leaving negative reviews but there are much better places to get Mexican food. Taco meat is bland and chewy (carne asada), the sauce is bland, the beans are watery, the rice is bland... I enjoy flavor and spice and this just didn't serve either

To us, this is very "North Americanized" Mexican food.
The Spicy Shrimp Burrito was not at all spicy, and the spicy peanut salsa was either left out or indiscernible. It was a fresh and good sized burrito. Just not at all spicy or even flavorful.
The nachos were again, generous, with plenty of toppings and ample queso sauce. They were even tasty. We prefer our nachos without meat, so we wish they'd offer that option.
Also, for two good sized entrees, two tiny (one roja, one verde) side sauces are simply not enough. Both meals needed a lot more flavor assist.
We would liken Taqueria el burrito to a fresh ingredients, much better quality and portions Taco Bell.

I really like this mexicsn restaraunt they're pretty affordable and I alway leave stuffed the Burrito Mojado is one of my favorites. If you like wet burritos you'd probably like it. My wife and I both really like their fish tacos, Both of us can get 2 street fish tacos and have a light and healthy meal. We're trying their Chicken Fajitas tonight and I got a feeling they'll be delicious.
