The The Mexican Burrito / Burrito El Mexicano never ever disappoints me. It is enough for 2 meals easily. I love the pulled pork carnita. The chefs do a great job of getting it crispy but not drying it out.

As always the Mulitas (2 pieces) were full of flavor with the al pastor pork meat and very cheesy. The Steak / Asada and Marinated Pork / Al Pastor tacos were perfectly seasoned. The carne asada burrito was ok, I think next time no rice so I can taste the meat. The Chips & Salsa were not as fresh as when eating at the restaurant and paying $5 for the tiny side of Pico de Gallo salsa wasn't worth it, very bland. More ree and green salsas for my food next time, please. Maybe I'll call them because there's no option to request more besides checking the box to include condiments.

This was my first time trying Taqueria El Rey 2.0 off a friend's recommendation and can happily say I believe it is one of the better Mexican options in the area. The Macho Burrito was large and lavishly garnished, and the chicken in the burrito actually tasted seasoned as opposed to merely plain white shredded chicken. I appreciate that my omission of pico de gallo was accommodated and utensils were actually included upon request. Their Guacamole also tasted very fresh and delicious!!
I also appreciated that everything was sealed and packaged perfectly without spilling, and that the bottom of the container wasn't lined with aluminum foil. (Makes it easier to cut and reheat). I will be ordering again!

After moving to WA 5 years ago I tried about every Mexican place around me and could not find authentic San Diego Mexican food anywhere ( not a fan of Tex Mex) This place is very solid! It's been our go to for years now, everyone's very nice as well! I guarantee once you try it it'll be your favorite spot too (:

I love going to this Taco truck. It is amazing. So much better than Taco Bell, Taco Time and Chipotle. They do amazing work here and the food is always very high quality. Been going for years and they never disappoint!
