1st time visit to Taqueria El Rey, I ordered the Burrito El Chapo and I was blown away. This is not a regular burrito, this thing is big. Roughly 4 inches wide, 7 inches long and almost an inch thick. Steak, shrimp and bacon with refried beans, rice and sour cream in a flour tortilla drenched in white queso. Insanely good. It's so good, that 1 week has past, I gave in and used doordash for the first time. Just got the order and the burrito is the exact same size as the one I had at the restaurant. Tastes just as amazing and prompted me to write my first review. Three firsts and I struck gold with an amazing burrito. Highly recommended.

The Quesabirrias are the standard in the CSRA to me and other restaurants should take notes on portions, quality, and flavor, in my opinion. The Queso Fundido is also so good that I've personally sang its praises to help bring frequent foodies.

We usually like the food from Taqueria El Rey, but the chicken tinga had no sauce, the Enchiladas Suizas was bland and tasted only like tomato sauce, and we got one bag of chips and almost no salsa when we ordered two things of chips with something. To add to it the prices have gone up. At least the Cheesedip was delicious. I hope this isn't consistent for other people.

The flavors were phenomenal but the portions were ridiculously small. $6 for a small
Cheese dip that is the size of a to go sauce cup is insane to me. Avoid and order elsewhere if you want what you pay for

always fresh and delicious , portions are good for 2 or 3 people depending on how hungry you are or if you want to share 😉. Pizzabirria is a must and my family loves ordering every time we can.
