I may not know about all the local African spots but from my experience and those that I'm close this is probably one of the best places to get West African food and even a few Caribbean dishes. The jollof is plentiful, the Elegusi is good and I've typically gotten the Agoyin which is good!

Eco elegusi was dry with no sauce at all and hardly any spinach in the dish. The fish was super salty and overcooked. The level of quality in the preparation of the food has dwindled considerably so, that I will not order from here again.

Do not order from this place $30 and they gave me 2 pieces of overcooked oxtail. They burned it and drowned it in sauce

Oxtails were fatty but the rice was amazing! I spent 32$ for 4 meatless oxtails and Cabbage tasted like cardboard shoe strings.

Everything i ordered was not up to par, not spicy, not flavorful. The goat was too tough and chewy, rice was very dry. good portion size, very high. I love African food and this was a waste of money. Sorry
