When I moved to Albany from metro Detroit, I was super bummed to find that there really weren't any Lebanese restaurants in this area. So when I heard this place was opening, I was excited to try it, and it definitely did not disappoint! I've had the chicken shawarma and the mixed grill - both are delicious, and the mixed grill is a great value. It usually lasts me a few meals. This is one of my favorite places to order food from, and I am definitely a repeat customer.

The large pita, shawarma and hummus were the stars of the show. I thought the rice pudding was sweet, it was savory. The yogurt doesn't come seasoned like tzaziki, as it appears in the picture. It's just plain greek yogurt.
The hummus is spectacular though. I will never buy store-bought hummus ever again! It was seasoned well (not just with cumin), delicious and unbelievably creamy! Store-bought hummus has a sour taste, probably from using citric acid as a preservative. It doesn't taste as tangy as the store-bought, and instead has a nice mild lemony taste as the flavor finishes. The texture is supreme. The Shawarma Chicken plate was juicy and succulent. Not dry and hard like those fast food shawarma over rice places. And it comes with a little salad and big juicy slices of tomatoes. The Fresh out of oven pita bread large is really big, like a small pizza. It comes in a pizza box. To have with the Hummus Large throughout the week. It was soft, layered and perfect. I have been craving good hummus for so long! So this was a beautiful meal.

My dad and I enjoyed the Chicken Shwarma plate so much, we ordered it again! The meat is well seasoned and the garlic sauce is the bomb! The only thing I didn't like was the baba ghannouj, but it was not because it didn't taste good, I just don't care for eggplant that way. We will be regulars soon enough!

The Baba Ghannouj is definitely the worst I've ever had. It will definitely go to waste. The Beef in the Shawarma plate was cold. Felt like having leftovers.. the taste was good though. Apparently it doesn't come with pita? So order a pita pie with everything that other places include pita with. Could have the things say pita not included. The pita was undercooked. The zaatar fries are not worth the price at all don't do it.. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Good was great other than the fries being slightly undercooked. Otherwise, the food was very tasty and delivered super fast. Recommend!
