Really good!! The Kerala Parota was amazing. The Paneer Makhni was a bit sweeter than expected, but I liked it, it was very flavorful. The Veg Samosa was also pretty awesome

- Quantity is less Quality is cheap for expensive price
- Food can be of better quality both appeal & taste
- Paneer not soft enough , need more varietes , and need to be cooked all the way along w proper marination
- garlic naan Thick&Chewy ( packaging can be better for takeout )
- 1 star for good mushroom curry :))

I had heard good things about this place, but was disappointed. The Butter Chicken wasn't all that good, and it was expensive. The bags they use for the naan trap heat, and made the Cheese Naan soggy. The cheese also fell to the bottom of the bag. The Garlic Naan was tough, so tough that i couldnt eat a half of it.

Okay so I used to live next to this place in 2021 and 2022. It used to be sooo good and fresh.. but over the past 6+ months, their food quality has gone severely downhill.. and their prices have risen on top of it. The chicken in the Tikka Masala used to be tender, now it's hard, dehydrated and tastes like it came from a can.. they also didn't let the vegetables stew in the curry. Tasted like they put huge raw pepper chunks in the bowl and sent it out the door. The Tikka Masala was also greasy and cold... I ordered food over an hour before close.
However, the Chic 65ken was great.. their only redeeming quality. I used to only go to thanal but I think I will go to one of the new popular spots on chestnut street from now on.. sad

You can tell they actually put effort into preparing the food. The flavors hit the right spot and are authentic. Their Thanal Special Goat Curry is the best!
