This place was amazing. Everything I ordered was delicious. Lamb was juicy and succulent, and spices were really good. was well packaged with all utensils and sauces. Everyone needs to give this place a try. I have become a fan for life and will continue to eat here for as long as it is around. Thank you Afghan village

Nicely seasoned, not too overpowering flavor, for me it's just perfect. The only thing I would suggest is that they need to use a whole thigh and leg for the chicken. I only got a drumstick, the chicken is big but it's not that big for a 19-dollar plate. And probably a little bit more rice.

I have been craving Chapli Kabobs for sometime now. They may look like simple ground beef patties, but they are little meat discs of some of the most interesting spices and flavors. I have tried this dish at 4 other restaurants in town and out of town. None come close. Others little patties of mush. These are perfectly mixed with meat and whatever little magic they put in there. So flavorful. The problem with Afghan Village is that everything is so tasty that there is option overload. The Whole Grilled Chicken has that perfect char that is my litmus test when I eat grilled chicken no matter if I'm at a backyard BBQ, a 5 star restaurant, or ordering takeout out. If you want super juicy chicken, the Murgh Pulau is probably your dish. But the flavor bang for your buck stops right at the Whole Grilled Chicken entree. You can't beat it!
The Hummus is definitely different from Greek hummus you may have had. This is a bit thinner and tangier. I personally love it. The Lamb Soup is light but still flavorful. Great for dunking anything into it. Also, the Naan (Bread)is huge. It's about the size of the whole chicken container. So it will definitely feed two. Next up is the Mantoo and the bolani. I have had both and can totally vouch for them being equally delicious. PS you can make wraps out of leftover chicken, naan, and hummus. You're welcome!

This was our first ever experience eating Afghan food, and WOW, everything was AMAZING!! We ordered the Combo Kabob, Qabuli Palau, Lamb Soup, Hummus, and Naan. Every bite was exploding with flavor. The meat was so tender, and the rice is especially good. The sweet carrots and raisins compliment the spices so nicely. Our order arrived hot and fresh and earlier than anticipated (we live across town). Very generous portions, too. We have enough left for lunch tomorrow. We will definitely order again and try other menu options!

We ordered Chicken kebab rice and we got back rice with little to no meat on the bone, making the food feel like an afterthought. Also, it must be mentioned that the photos are extremely inaccurate and deceptive to what the food actually looks and taste like. This is not the first time that this has happened. Sidenote: I've also came here in person once and the stares Ive received were creepy and the service was very terrible.
