My favorite meal is definitely chapati and ndengu (green grams), and I must say that African Soul Food serves up an amazing version of this classic African dish.
The chapati was perfectly cooked, soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. The ndengu was also delicious, cooked to perfection with just the right blend of spices, and it paired perfectly with the chapati.
In addition to the chapati and ndengu, I also recommend trying the sukuma wiki (collard greens) and the pilau rice, which were both cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
Overall, African Soul Food in Marietta, Georgia is a fantastic restaurant that serves up delicious and authentic African cuisine. As someone originally from Kenya, I can say that the flavors and atmosphere of the restaurant reminded me of home and my African heritage. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of authentic African cuisine.

This place hits EVERYTIME!!! If you are lookingfor Authenic African Food with worthy portions..Look no further!!! The Grilled Tilapia seasoned to perfection. The jollof rice with red sauce and fufu, outstanding and the egusi was amazing!!! Thank you African Soul food for always coming through!!!

The Fried Plantain (Fried Sweet Bananas) was delicious. Reminded me of Côte d'Ivoire alloco. The attieke was good. The Grilled Lamb (Dibi) was dry. I like when it's tender and juicy like how the Senegalese make it. Decent food tho. Close enough to get when you want back home food.

I have tried a couple of places and nothing has beat the egusi here. I will never get it from anywhere else. The joolof rice is not my thing but if you like spicy rice, it is nice paired with it.

This was my first time ordering and eating fro this restaurant and it will not be my last time. I ordered the egusi soup with fu fu and it was amazing. The spices were just right and the meat was so tender, the beef, chicken, lamb and fish. So very tasty. I couldn't eat it all but saved the rest for later.
I recommend this place. I plan to come to the restaurant to eat inside very soon. I did door dash this time.
