Perfectly prepared and delicious! Crispy bacon, lean yet flavorful-tasting burger. Included wrapped pickle spear, ketchup ramekin, and pastic cutlery wth a mint. Very nicely packaged. Will definitely order a nice dinner in again from Blackwall Barn and Lodge!

The portions were shockingly small and poorly prepared. The $9.50 Grilled Asparagus side had just a few seemingly boiled spears, and my $11.50 Berry Bowl (GF/V) was both tiny and included several bad pieces of strawberry. The Kids Housemade Pasta had a decent size, but the 'apple slices' were just a super bruised, whole apple. Overall a very underwhelming experience for what ended up being a $100 meal for four.

I read a lot of mixed reviews about the value and taste. I almost didn't order. I ordered the lamb shank. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The best meal that I ate in a long time. The kids sirloin is a nice cut of meat and was delicious. The slice of Smith Island was on the small side.

Our third time trying Blackwall & our third time being disappointed. $60 for soup, main course, and dessert should yield a mind blowing experience. That was not the case. The soup portion was small but the amount of crab in the soup was microscopic. The short ribs were chuck roast or the worst short ribs we have ever had. Normally short ribs are tender, melt in your mouth deliciousness. These were not that. They weren't even tender for chuck roast. The Smith Island cake was good but we can get that anywhere. We won't be back.

The food had absolutely zero flavor. The scampi had 5 shrimp and disgusting pasta that was so overcooked it clumped together in a solid mass; completely inedible. A was of $28.00. I gave one star because the spinach was okay once I added seasoning.
