Fried chicken was juicy, crispy perfection! Sweet potato casserole was unlike anything I'd ever had and absolutely addicting and delicious. I'd go back for that alone.

First time trying The Blue Hen. I will upload pictures but I ordered the meatload, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Chicken and Meatloaf was dry like had been sitting too long. VERY SMALL meatloaf portion. Mashed Potatoes were okay but had strange after taste. Salad was fresh and good. Appreciate food was not served in Styrofoam.

We ordered 2 dinner plates that included one meat and we chose the meatloaf. For veggies we went with the mashed potatoes and green beans. I added corn for my husband and sweet potato casserole for myself. Both meals came with a roll.
Very delicious and nice serving sizes. Enough to save for lunch tomorrow!
The only thing that was missing from the meal was utensils but thats not a big deal if you're eating at home.

Chicken is good. The green beans and macaroni and cheese were outstanding! Reminds me of my grandmother's cooking.

The food was awesome but my boom boom shrimp has no sauce with it so it was fried shrimp but very good anyway. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn tasted really good too
