Fantastic food ! The sauce on the Chicken Ravioli was delicious as well as the Grouper Fingers, the portion was large, everything was fresh, and id order again! Only thing I wish was provided was a traditional tarder sauce.

I devoured the Buffalo Chicke Sandwich it was the perfect amount of sauce and the Buffalo flavor was really there, a little messy but overall loved it. I also got a side of macaroni and cheese and the cheese pull was magnificent. Never had takeout as good as this

This was my first time ordering from The Brown Barrel. They were out of salmon and quickly messaged me with an alternative. They even threw in a surprise piece of chocolate cake to compensate. The salad is divine and the pineapple vinaigrette is the bomb. Thank you!

the Grouper Fingers are amazing and the tarter sauce is the best I've ever had- tastes home made. However the Chicken Tenders with Fries was pretty awful. While definitely hand made strips, the batter couldn't have LESS flavor. I wonder if the chef who created the menu or recipe is a chef or just someone trying to make a quick buck because they were awful and nobody who tried them would like them so I wonder if the chef ever has, is my point. Unfortunately due to being closed in a sealed Styrofoam container the fries were wet and soggy from condensation. Thats nothing the folks at BB could really help, though. I will say I love things I have eaten here in the past like the Shrimp and Grits with Woodford Reserve BBQ sauce, and my son loved his Ribs he had on his Birthday dinner we celebrated at the Brown Barrel. I live nearby and eat here often. I love the waitress there and she makes the experience worth going in Everytime. I recommend going in person.

I got the "surf and turf"' which in reality was a small steak (extremely dry) cut in half with two lonely shrimp, mashed potatoes that were too greasy to eat, and mushy broccoli. The potato skins are tiny, and undercooked.  It was not, in any way, a good meal. Especially with how expensive it was. Very disappointing.
