I haven't had Franklin Fountain in ages. I live right by the place but ordered delivery because I'm disabled and it took over an hour until anyone picked up my order--which was 20 before close. When the dasher arrived apparently the place was closed already and they opened it up and gave him the order. I believe that might be an issue with DoorDash and a lack of available drivers, but just in case it isn't and they simply didn't see the order and select that it was ready for pickup--- and anyone else has this issue in the future, I thought I might mention it.
All that aside, it's so delicious. Hydrox is great. Peanut butter is great. This is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had in Philly. It's so expensive, though so I simply can't justify it regularly but wow what a great treat.

I come here exclusively for the honeycomb flavored i e cream. It it so freaking good , I can't even explain . Unmatched 10/10. And if you go into the actual walk in ice cream store( they have two locations) right next to each other it is so cute inside and everyone is very friendly. I definitely want to try other flavors but the honeycomb is my absolute favorite . Only thing that sucks is delivery always takes so long and maybe it's because of the area ? Not super sure or just a shortage of drivers. But it's worth the wait ! It's a great portion size , sometimes I wish we got a little more just because of the price point for delivery , however that is to be expected and I still buy anyways lol . Great ice fresh , fresh , definitely try it out !

way overpriced flavors are not that great, got the banana, oreo, and vanilla not even worth 5 dollars let alone 15.

I dream of the Caramelized Banana ice cream. So delicious. Expensive, but a worthwhile treat now and then!
