If it's fried it's fried to perfection, for me anyways, I like a hard fry. The batter did not slide off and the flavor is solid. The greens have a slight kick to them, and the cornbread is nice and sweet. Some could find the cornbread too dense for their liking but it soaks up the sauce well. The portions are large enough for leftovers for 2 days depending on how much you eat. Although it's a bit far from me, my food is always still fresh and hot when I get it. I have ordered before and will order again. Next time I'll try to take a picture. This will become my go to soul food spot.

This food is a 10/10 ESPECIALLY the macaroni!! Not too many people make good macaroni and theirs was bussin! The pork chops could be cooked a few more minutes but overall it was good asf ! And nice portions for the price ! And definitely fresh ! It's getting saved because I'm definitely adding it to one of my go to spots ! Sorry about the picture I eat before reviewing

mac + The Ultimate Mac and Cheese was creamy and cheesy but had an aftertaste; maybe a different type of cheese was used
Cajun Fried Catfish was delicious and nicely seasoned; fried just right
first time having Smothered Chopped Steak could've had more gravy with the dish seasoning; big portions
overall it was okay. I'd eat here again. this was my second visit.

Herb Roasted Chicken was falling off the bone! It was so good and tender. Very flavorful and not too salty and the meat wasnt dry at all! The mac and cheese and candied yams are Thanksgiving good! Reasonable price to for the amount of food I got. The plate was nice and heavy. 10/10 reminded me of the soul food at home

The food tastes ok but the Cajun Fried Catfish was way too small to be $23 & the Herb Roasted Chicken wasn't fresh.
