Food was amazing!!! The chicken sandwich's were huge and totally worth the money, so were the patty fries! 10/10 recommend.

So, I had heard a good buzz about this place.  I checked them out online and, to be honest, I thought prices seemed a bit high for sandwiches.  But I did want to try it, so I ordered a Madone sandwich for myself and an Ultimo Cubano sandwich for my father.  I also ordered a few other menu items for some nephews.  Both of ours were absolutely delicious.  So much thought and flavor put into these delicacies.

The first thing to know is that this is a Mom and Pop business.  On top of that fact, they cook everything fresh.  The reason I am pointing this out is there can be a bit of a wait for food.   I had been forewarned about that fact, so I placed an online order for pickup; and there was about a 45 minute wait at that point.

We walked into the place very early just to see the vibe of the inside.  We were greeted by the owner (who was the only employee today) and explained to him we came early just to be able to see the place.  With a big smile he explained it will still be another half hour but he was working on it; then he proceeded to ask if we wanted coffee (which I did).  He got it for me promptly and then he went back to work on our order.

The restaurant itself was bigger than it felt from the outside.  And I found it's decor very inviting.  At the time we sat down we were the only customers there.  We went into a side room seating area and drank my coffee.  As we did that we perused the actual menu and read a rather interesting trivia card that was sitting around as decor.  I must say they have a lot of sandwiches I would like to try.

About 15 minutes after, the owner came out and said our food was ready.  Once again he was very engaging and said "look .. and I'm 15 minutes early".  Then he explained that he usually has his wife working with him (ergo my mom and pop comment earlier) .  But between a car issue, and the kids going back to school, he was doing a solo act today.  We thanked him sincerely and left (with the aroma of the foods overwhelming the car).

End result ... Support your local mom and pop shops/restaurants when you can.  Even if it costs a little more.  Every once in awhile you will be rewarded for your thoughtfulness by finding a place like this.  Who's food is like no others .... FIVE STARS and my thanks.

The humongous selection on the menu may seem daunting and the prices are a little bit steep, but once you get the food you find out exactly what you paid for.

I ordered a pastrami reuben and it did not disappoint- I even found myself getting lost counting the sheer number of slices of absolutely juicy pastrami bite after bite. Only downside I'd say it's that I was kinda hoping for a pickle on the side- especially for a $24 sandwich. 

The food is a 5/5 on taste but the price I'd give a 4/5. I won't complain any more than that because it's a price I'm willing to pay to support local businesses that serve good food.

First time ordering. I got the  Steve Marin birdie.  Spicier then I thought it would be, def  had to add my own ranch sauce to be able to eat and enjoy it. Bold flavor, very sloppy, chicken was fried to perfection. I would not order this specific sandwhich again but I would definitely give something else a try.  The sandwhiches are huge but Istill feel like for the price a small side or small drink should be included.  Not a fan of the cole slaw at all. The nacho cheese dusted fries are pretty good, I like the dipping sauce.

It's one of the best places for a chicken sandwich around here. Brought my family from out here since they're from out of state, and they said it themselves that they can't wait to come visit me again so we can come back together 🤣❤️
