• 6/3/22I live in Lorain and it said up to an hour for delivery so I was a little nervous but I'm actually quite impressed. I've never visited this place before but love trying new places and their food. I've seen The Kitchen on DoorDash before and finally talked myself into trying it this time. The Cook's Sandwich was super big and super good! When I opened the lid and saw the size of this sandwich I thought 'Wow!' The sausage is a hand smashed patty instead of an already processed patty which I love. The cheese is fresh and the egg was perfect! I also got their biscuits and gravy and I have to say, probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had from a restaurant. You can tell the biscuits and the gravy is made from scratch and not from a can. The biscuits have grill marks which I actually love. The grill adds not just a nice looking to the biscuits but gives them that nice crunch on the outside while keeping them soft on the inside and the gravy had amazing flavor. I actually used the rest of the gravy on my potatoes lol. Because of how long it said delivery would be I was worried it'd be cold when it got to me but it was still piping hot which really surprised me and I very much appreciated that! I will definitely be ordering from here again! I can't wait to try something new next time!

• 10/18/24I LOVE the kitchen for breakfast/brunch. I had been a door dasher for 2 years from 2021-2023 and went into the restaraunt once in a while to pick up food. I just loved the atmosphere, it smelled great everytime & the people working were nice, so and so I checked out their website for their menu. Everything is fairly priced for what you get portion wise, and they also have secrets on their website door dash doesn't mention. Like for instance I'm sure you're wondering why my pic of their stuffed French toast is diffrent than the description. They only show one of the 4 kinds you can order on door dash which is the berry one. Yes, They have the berry one you always see, but you can ask for "Nutella and banana stuffed" (which is what I got today) "the berries" "banana cream pie", or "coconut cream pie" stuffed. You just ask for the change in the special requests when u order it and they happily changed it the last two times i ordered, ( I got banana cream pie last time).

• 10/24/25Smoothie had no fruit flavor & it was strawberry banana . The Kitchen Skillet had hard chunks of potato that were like sticks and very little ham (maybe 6 little cubes). I strive to support local businesses, but this isn't the one.

• 11/6/22I wish I could send a picture of what just arrived. The staff at this place should be embarrassed. The corn beef hash was literally about a half a cup of potatoes with three pieces of corn beef lunch meat. All the gravy from the biscuits and gravy leaked out the container because they put it in the bag sideways and then the corn beef hash meal which cost $10 was supposed to have two eggs over easy but are just a mess and I'm not sure what you call one egg cut in two but it's not 2 eggs as advertised and this has seven tiny pieces of corn beef in it and the rest is all potatoes.  Don't waste your money!

• 12/18/21The chicken was undercooked and the waffles mush by the time we received our food. Threw out most of what we ordered. Should have put the syrup and toppings in separate containers like most restaurants do to prevent that.
