Them breakfast eggrolls a hit perfect combination and the grit flight also fire pot roast and grits definitely an unexpected great combo I got a whole waffle not waffle sticks maybe they mixed it up but it was all still great

We’ve had so many wonderful meals from The Lawn, which is why this visit stood out a bit for us. The food felt unusually inconsistent this time around. The scrambled eggs in both our Breakfast Skillet and the French Toast meal were overdone, the French toast itself was a little dry, and the potatoes at the bottom of the bowl were extremely dry and unusually tiny — honestly, it almost looked like there were a few french fries mixed in.
We still love this place and really appreciate having such high-quality food in the neighborhood, which is why I wanted to leave constructive feedback. It just seemed like the kitchen may have been having an off morning during this visit.

I’ve really tried to give this place multiple chances, but my experiences have been consistently disappointing. I’ve ordered just about everything on the menu, and to be fair, the grits sampler has been good. However, on several occasions they weren’t even open during their posted hours, which is already frustrating.
When they are open, the food and service don’t make up for it. The food is often bland, the service is subpar, and they frequently don’t have what I order—sometimes even substituting items without asking.
Today was especially disappointing. I ordered salmon croquettes and two sunny side up eggs. The croquettes were dry and had a burnt, greasy taste, like the grill hadn’t been cleaned. The eggs were not sunny side up—they were scrambled and folded—and tasted like they were cooked in the same old grease, with no seasoning at all. Just parsley on top, no salt, no pepper, nothing.
To be fair, the manager was very eager to make it right. They offered a free meal on the spot, provided something for a future free meal, and even gave me a drink. I do appreciate the effort, but I think I’ll give it some time before returning. I may pass the free meal along , so someone else can hopefully have a better experience.

Tried this place because I seen the Grit Flight on tik tok. The shrimp, and the pot roast grits were a 10/10. The flight comes with two bomb pancakes!!! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich which was super greasy so i ended up tossing it, but other than that I would def order from here again!!

I wasn't a big fan of the BYOB sandwich because I got the Texas toast which is very thick and very dry. And then the bacon is also thick and kind of leathery. So if you prefer your bacon thin and crispy this isn't for you. However everything was fresh so I would try a traditional breakfast from this place.
