The Cheeseburger was generous and perfectly seasoned, and I already knew their Mac & Cheese was legit. It did not disappoint! Great value all around and top quality as usual.

Honestly just ordered this because there was a discount, but WOW! Maybe the best Single Fried Catfish I've ever had, and believe me, I've had it dozens of times. Juicy, fresh, crispy, just awesome. Mashed potatoes were great and the zucchini/squash actually tasted char-grilled, but I just can't get over the fish. Great portion size. Definitely my new go-to.

The pretzel arrived still warm, with the perfect amount of salt and a little bit of crunch on the outside with a super soft center. Both the cheese and mustard dipping sauces were delicious. There was also more than enough cheese sauce to go around! Definitely will be ordering again!!

It was my first-time trying The Lokal Norman--they have a great menu and everything looked delicious to me. I decided on the Double Fried Catfish with green beans and rice, along with the Beer Pretzel with beer cheese.
They gave such a generous portion of catfish--I had enough for two meals!! Although it was cooked perfectly, it was a little on the salty side. I'm not sure if it's because the filets are double-fried, if it's the batter itself, or a little of both.
The side of rice was my favorite--yummm! I could have eaten a full plate of it! It was cooked well and had an excellent flavor. The green beans; however, were sadly overcooked and rather mushy--I only had three bites. I enjoyed the pretzel a lot and would definitely try it again.
I'd try The Lokal Norman again, although I may go in person instead.

It's hard to add a picture because I've already devoured the catfish, and being from Louisiana, I would say this is the best catfish I've had ever including Louisiana. I've also had the Lokal's chicken fried steak twice! For me this is the best restaurant in Norman!
