I thought the food was very good. Except the cake. Completely made a box mix. Not very good. The reason why I will not order again, I believe that $39.00 for 5 scallops, some fresh green beans (which are in season now), plus a scoop of rice is ridiculous. I understand that all prices have gone up. But truly much to expensive.

I usually love The Oak Stave. Ive eaten at the restaurant multiple times, and have ordered DoorDash a few- without issues, until this time. The chicken in the Classic Chicken Milanese was basically raw. I went back to the restaurant and they made me a frwh order - but I was in a hurry (hence the reason I ordered DoorDash).

I don't want to take anything away from the rest of their menu, but their Goat Cheese Balls (4) is easily the best thing on their menu and in the running for best app I've ever had. Great food all around, but dang those are amazing!
