• 9/20/24The Arrachera Steak was melt in your mouth and juicy (speechless) it's exactly what you'd expect and want out of an arrachera steak. The Enchiladas with Old Green Sauce had the perfect kiss of spice for those who like to feel a tiny burn while enjoying big flavor. The chicken in the enchiladas: Tender; not a dry sponge that you need to soak into the sauce just so your mouth doesn't go dry from saw dust remains. These bad boys had enough joos in the caboos to make your lips wish they could lick your tongue. Beautifully done Riviera, beautifully done.

• 7/25/25We enjoy this restaurant when we dine in. The Caldillo was too spicy. The creamy green chile sauce was to spicy also. the chile Chile Colorado Enchiladas (Favorite) was a litthe spicy. for two dollars each order x 3, we got small Sopapillas and that was disappointing. never ordering take out again from here. we'll stick to Avila's mexican food next time. not sure what happened. discouraging. We transferred the food into storange containers for refrigeration in the photos but they used standard Styrofoam containers. thank you anyway Riviera! you are still an iconic restaurant with kind and attentive servers!

• 7/17/23Ordered , tacos, they were bland even Taco Bell has more flavor in them. Also ordered chili con queso.. total bill was over $25 and they were only able to spare a sandwich bag sized chips. Better options elsewhere

• 8/21/22Riviera has probably the best Mexican food in El Paso. The churros were 4 pieces about 4 inches long and $4.00 is a lot to pay for 4 small pieces, especially since the caramel sauce was forgotten. The tortillas for the queso were forgotten as well.

• 9/6/25Took the restaurant forever- longer than what was quoted. The dasher waited for like 25 min. BUT, the food was delicious. My first time trying it. The chicken is shredded and flavorful in the chimi. The chile con queso topping was a little chinsy since it's $4 upgrade. The queso is spicy! Salsa is medium. Rice and beans delicious
