I was so surprised by how good the half rack 1st place ribs were. The meat was just falling off the bone, fresh and tender. The cornbread was great and the collards were perfect. Boiled with the stems and branches removed. No sugar or phony flavoring added to the greens. Very authentic. Alabama style. What a find the Smoke Shop was!

I always like the food here. The chicken is always right and the fries always crispy(and their wings DOPE). I got the Pulled BBQ Chicken Plate but seems like they give half what they use to give. At this price I probably should have order the chicken basket. Way more chicken. Hopefully this wa an oversight. Food is always tasty.

Good Portion. Great taste. The mac and cheese was good. The fries were a bit salty. The wings were cooked well, a little less spicy would be perfect but still good. The ribs are nicely flavored, just good be a bit more tender so it slids easily off the bone.

The brisket was so dry I could barely swallow it. No flavor, just like eating sawdust. To make matters worse, the amount of barbecue sauce given was TINY. About a tenth of what I get from other places. So could not use sauce to re-constitute the brisket. The burnt ends were also fossilized. Had to throw that in the trash. You ought to taste your food occasionally before sending it out.

The Mississippi Mud Pie is delicious - although the version with just chocolate cookies in the chocolate pudding is excellent whereas the one with pecans and chocolate chips included, in my opinion takes away from the wonderful chocolate taste of the chocolate pudding.
The Party Wings are also wonderful - a 10 out of 10!!
Both the brussel sprouts and the macaroni and cheese are delicious.
One problem is when asking for extra sauce - sometimes you get two, sometimes one, and sometimes none.
The second problem is that sometimes the bun on the pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwiches can be soaked with either juices or sauce - not sure which. That wetness makes the sandwiches - which are great - a little less appetizing.
Neither problem will keep me from ordering these exact same items.
The Smoke Shop is the best barbeque that I have ever had!!!!!
