Their food IS so GOOD! I've been twice already. Everything was seasoned perfectly. My favorite is the mac & cheese! I recommend it highly.

The food gives a warm, home cooked feel and you get great portion for the price for proteins + sides. The fried turkey wings are super tender which may throw people off if they want a crunch and meatier bite.
Only giving four stars because of my last order—everything was a hair too salty but the macaroni was inedible. That said, I'm sure it was an off day and would order from here again!

Mac and cheese and okra were great, collards and cabbage were a little under seasoned , and turkey wing/gravy very under seasoned. Over all great portions and tasty just may need to season to taste when you get your order

The taste was out of this world. True Southern meal. Southern Pot's portions were very generous seasoned to perfection. This meal touched all 5 of my senses. It made me feel as if I was at Grandmas enjoying an amazing Sunday dinner. It has been a very long time since I have enjoyed my take meals. Food was fresh cooked to perfection. My new favorite restaurant. Thanks Southern Pot.

This was my second time ordering from this spot. While the Fried Chicken Dinner was decent, I didn't care for the size of the chicken. They looked to be on steroids. The yams were dark and tasted mediocre. I did not receive the cornbread but that's not a deal breaker. I think I'll stick to the pork chops going forward. I do appreciate the portion sizes, as I feel you get more bang for your buck.
