My first time trying The Taco Shop, and they didn't disappoint! The Traditional Meat Tacos al pastor were fantastic and the tortillas were homemade. The Burrito Tradicional with asada was a very generous portion and tasted wonderful. I'll definitely return soon.

The TTS Fries are generously loaded - don't be fooled by the small box! Tried the Nachos De Mole for the first time and they didn't disappoint, but the bottom chips needed a little more mole. Their Arroz con Leche  dessert is a different kind of Arroz con Leche  (not the typical authentic type), but really good and the texture is a little more like tapioca. Overall, delicious! I am always impressed with anything I try from here! :)

If you’re looking for one of the best spots in Ventura, you have to check out The Taco Shop. Everything here tastes like it’s made with real care and authentic recipes.

The handmade tortillas alone set this place apart. You can taste the difference immediately — soft, fresh, and the perfect base for their tacos and burritos. The tacos are loaded with flavor, the burritos are massive and perfectly balanced, and the mole nachos are seriously next level. The mole sauce has that rich, deep flavor that makes you want to keep coming back for more.

What I love most is that it’s not just one good item on the menu — everything from the tacos to the burritos to the desserts hits. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the whole menu feels authentic and satisfying.

Ventura has a lot of good spots, but this one easily stands out as one of the best in town. If you’re local or just visiting, this is definitely a must-try.

This will be my first time trying this place, smells delicious! Everything is nicely packaged, guacamole looks very fresh, rice and beans look yummy!! Fries are just fries haha! Looking forward to it. Smells really really good!!! Fresh grilled veggies with the tacos!

Everything was so good! I got two Huaraches; one with the pepita verde chicken and the other with the peanut carnitas and I would highly recommend both.
The Homemade Chips (8oz) are nicely packed in a resealable bag. They don't seem to be salted but I enjoy that.
The Flan Slice  is one of the best I've had since I moved here.

I wish they sold guac in 8 oz size instead of just 4 or 16 oz.
