wonderful dinner. veal pattie was tender and lightly fried.covered with gravy. Stuffing was moist and not overly saged. 3 bean salad was great. large portions fresh taste.will definitely order again.

The Velvet is my go to! Always delicious no matter what I've gotten. They also have REAL roast turkey for their turkey dinner and hot turkey sandwich as well as REAL roast beef! It's not pressed meat. I don't know of anywhere else in town that uses REAL roast turkey or REAL roast beef. Their gravy is also amazing. Their broiled haddock portions are large and perfect. The club sandwiches are also the best! But again, no matter what I've gotten it's delicious, perfect and top notch. Great local cafe; support local!

Portion size for shrimp was very small and crab soup side was 99.5% old bay flavored veggie soup and 0.5% crab.

This was a delicious, freshly made meal. They did not skimp on portion size! I will definitely order this meal again…but I will try others as well.

I have eaten/ordered from the Velvet Cafe many times over the years. There are 2 meals that are my go to. Today will be the last time I order this meal; the hot turkey sandwich. It was full of dark fatty meat. There was only a very small amount of white meat. I have never had it like that before. When you think of a hot turkey sandwich, you would think turkey breast; not this one. Very disappointed.
