The Whistling Kettle gets French/French-inspired foods right, particulary when it comes to perfect soups, myriad baked breads/goods, and authentic crêpes!

We got 2 sandwiches which tasted great but very both were very small for the price. The Turkey Cranberry and Brie had only one very thin slice of turkey on it and the club barely had much on it as well. Salad was a good size and also tasty.

Coffee was pretty standard, good but nothing special. Sandwich was also pretty tasty but doesn't justify the extreme prices this place charges. Overall I enjoyed what I had but it hurt the wallet more than most other restaurants for standard food and drink.

The Turkey Avocado was AMAZING! My Chai Latte could have used a little more love but my main concern was the LOBSTER BISQUE! So with that I gave it 5 stars. I love this restaurant!

The Turkey BLT was smothered in mayo and they stacked 3 pieces of bread on each piece of the sandwich. I feel like I'm eating an entire loaf of bread. WAY too many carb/mayo ratio to the sandwhich. Not healthy or easy to eat at all. I threw most of it away since it was hard to stomach.
