Although the New Wave Fave was my favorite, the portions were too big and the food quality was amazing.

We ordered 2 sandwiches, one order of fries and 1 soda. The total bill for this delivery order that took more than an hour to get here was $45+. The high-standards sandwhich looked awesome on the menu but was a complete bust and completely inedible. First, the description states that it comes with marinara sauce; however, when you call the restaurant to tell them they left it off of your sandwich they argue with you, saying, "marinara doesn't come on that sandwich." Read the menu, it says it comes on it. So you're left with a dried out, oily sandwich that has 2 smashed mozzarella sticks sloppily plopped on a torn hogue roll with strewn about loose pepperonis that look and taste like they came out of a grocery store hormel package - not actual deli pepperonis which the price of the sandwich implies has excellent ingredients.
Don't be fooled by this restaurant, it looks fun, interesting, and delicious but it is not. It has overpriced food that is made with cheap ingredients. Not only will they not accept responsibility for incorrect orders they won't actually do anything to make an order right by replacing the sandwich or proving a refund. They told me to call DoorDash for a refund....which of course DoorDash offered $3.27 as compensation for this $15+ sandwich screw up that was thrown away. After 3 transfers several texts messyfinally DoorDash provide a refund for the messed up sandwich.
I'm still hungry because I didn't get to eat....the refund really doesn't make this right...don't really think it's satisfactory that I now get to pay more delivery and service fees to get something else to eat, or get to go out and pick something up. After more than an hour waiting for food and 30+ minutes trying to get someone on the phone to help make this right.....I'm left with an annoyed feeling that makes me hate food delivery services.
