It’s been about a month since I last ordered from Toasty’s, and today’s meal, while tasty, had some clear differences. The packaging immediately caught my attention — the previous containers were more eco‑friendly, but this time the tots came in a plastic container and the burrito was wrapped loosely in a foil‑paper combo. The burrito was grilled, which added nice flavor, but it’s not how they’ve prepared it before.
The tots were the highlight: beautifully browned, crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside. The jalapeño avocado salsa was flavorful and paired well with everything. I’ll be ordering again, but the changes make me wonder if the place is under new management.
