They are a fixture in San Francisco since 1929. They service if dining in is nothing but superb! Their food is delicious including their pizza's! Our favorite the spinach with parmasean shavings!! Recommend and LOVE this restaurant! Shout out to Carmen!!

I've eaten at Tommaso's in NY. The Banano family would be appalled here in SF. Doordash was fine, no complaints. Crème Brûlèe sugar topping should be lightly browned. It was burnt to a black, crisp, disk that tasted like a burnt marshmallow and stuck to the foil wrapping. The salad was drowning in the Caesar dressing, croutons were completely soaked, thank God because there was only 3. The only difference in the Crème Brûlée & the tiramisu was the topping, the brûlèe was runny like boxed pudding before it sets up, the tiramisu was the same pudding with cinnamon gobbed on top. It had no taste of espresso or any resemblance of a ladyfinger in the dish. Chef Boy-ar-dee makes better Italian. It's time to throw in the towel folks. We won't order from there again.

Veal Parmigiana Clearly microwaved and sent on its way. no flavor in veal and sauce tastes like a can but not tomato flavor. I'm so sorry the family left the name on it when they sold out. after many years of great meals with friends and family at the restaurant, this is my last one. san francisco has too many other great places to eat.

Best Italian restaurant in SF - real and really delicious. Pizza and pasta like your Nonna makes. - historic interior - simply my favorite since the days when Coppola was working on The Godfather. Consistently the best.

Caesar was really good, spaghetti was pretty underwhelming...there was like a couple spoonful of sauce buried under noodles
