The variety of tacos is nice. The pickled onions on the Baja Shrimp are delicious. The queso is very tasty and you can adjust the level of spice. The Chips are always fresh and tasty. I prefer the grilled shrimp for the Baja taco, but it tastes good either way. Everything is very filling and a nice portion. I would definitely order the Rice Pinto Bean Combo again as well!

Torchy's is the gold stand by which all other taco places should be judged. The tacos are robust and full of flavor. Excellent value per taco too.

Neither taco was anywhere near a representation of the taco in the photos. The green chili pork taco was especially disappointing. The amount of meat was very small and the cheese was almost nonexistent and looked like sawdust. I will never order from Torchy's again.

I have ordered the Democrat tacos several times and they've always been delicious, but they really missed the mark this time. 1 taco had hardly any barbacoa and what little it did was mostly fat that I couldn't even eat. the 2nd one had more barbacoa but it was fatty as well to the point I had to keep taking out of my mouth to keep from gagging. it was gross!! very disappointing

Democrat tacos are pretty darn close to the best barbacoa in San Antonio that I've tried. definitely the best corn tortillas! I can eat 3 and stuff myself, but wish I could eat more.
