Torchies has some of the best text Max on the market in Kansas City. I really like their beef fajita and my wife likes the chicken fajita. The queso is the best I've had since I left Texas. Also, the salsa is excellent.

The Republican was so good I love the meat and the bbq sauce was sweet and smoky and I like the fried onions and corn. This is the second time I've ordered Fried Avocado (V) because I love the idea and the fried avocado they put inside is so good and original. Also, this will not affect my ratings because it is a personal preference of mine, but I do want to note that there is a lot of use of cilantro in e every aspect of a lot of these items, even though I removed it from the toppings and garnish, I didn't realize it's used in a lot of the different sauces, and relishes as well as in the guacamole. So I don't really like cilantro at all but I have come to expect it when ordering stuff like tacos. Overall the food is really good and the cilantro didn't surprise me, I just wish it wasn't in the guacamole too.

Queso was extremely runny, burrito barely had anything in it. Huge drop off in quality since last we ate here. Never again. Another one bites the dust.

the republican was exceplenty and full of flavor. great mix of seasonings and foods.
street corn was equally as good. one of my new favoices.
