19. Kalua Pork is the bomb !! So flavorful tender, very impressed !! Even the 25. Teriyaki Chicken Bowl Teriyaki is yummy. Will be ordering again :) very fresh food still hot and the portions were a lot bigger than we expected for sure!! Yum! You gotta try this place

A loco moco is a very simple dish and a staple of Hawaiian cuisine, but this was extremely overcooked. The egg yolks were dried and the whites were crispy, so they didn't blend with the rice, and the beef patties were overcooked and dry and mostly inedible. Most of the gravy was in the bag instead of on the patties/rice. Portion sizes are good for the price, but the quality is not there.

3. Seafood Mix with Short Ribs was decent. the thinnest toughest fish i have ever had. the shrimp were tastey. The short ribs maybe had an ounce of meat on them. the rice was pretty bland and dry, but the mac salad was on point. 38. Grab Worten These were the best thing in the bag. Great taste and fried perfectly.56. Egg Drop Soup this was also a disappointment, had zero flavor.

Hawaiian Tropics has been my favorite food place since I was a little kid. If you want good homemade loving food this little mom and pop shop is the one. They make a mean musubi and just everything there is 10/10. The people are great, the food is great, the drinks are great, you gotta try it at least once in your life. The food tastes just like my families recipes and will be a place I will always recommend. Get a milk tea while you visit next.
