Spinach and Mushroom Pizza, The crust was baked just right and the taste of sourdough came through nicely without overpowering the generous toppings. Great dish to order when you don't feel like cooking. Serving size is just nice for 2.
Chef Matt's Lentil Salad, V GF has a sour-savoury-spicy taste. Reminds me of Indian pickles but less sour and salty. Would recommend it as an accompaniment with curry and rice.

Gluten free chicken tenders are a rare, special thing; and the Tender Plate, GF did not disappoint.
The BBQ sauce was fine, and the House-Made: Original Ranch, VEG GF was tangy. I thought they tasted better together than apart.
The Pesto Pasta, VEG (side order) was delicious. Just the right amount of veggies, pasta, and sauce.
The cheesy mashed potatoes were SO GOOD. I mostly dipped my tenders in them :D
At first, the Chocolate Chip Cookie, V GF seemed a bit dry but the center is gooey. Tbh, it tastes healthy!
I would describe the overall meal as comfort food that doesn't sit heavily in my stomach (huge bonus). The ingredients were fresh and the food tasted homemade. I wish more restaurants would prioritize the quality of their ingredients.
Absolutely would order again.

FYI if you order the "chopped" salad it will show up with 2 slices of apple, 3 almonds, and one weirdly chopped date. It will also be drenched in dressing despite asking for it on the side. I have had far better salads at Chopt at a fraction of the cost. It was a good reminder of why I hadn't door dashed from here in awhile.

The quality at True Food in Green Hills has really slipped over the past several months . My daughter's turkey burger patty tonight was about two inches thick and hard as a rock. Nothing fresh about it. The turkey burger is her standard order and she has had dozens of them over the past several years. They have been declining in quality but tonight's took the prize for the worst - a $20 burger inedible and thrown away. Please, True Food, get back to your fresh and tasty ways!

That was very good but I am surprised at the portion size. 20$ for the bowl, and it was the size of an appetizer. I am used to eating at true food, and usually that is at least the double of this portion. I am a little disappointed by the restaurant.
