The Ghee Sambar Idly always hits the spot and its a lot of food on its own for one person. I usually get the extra sambar so the idly is drenched. The Gulab Jamun is yummy too. They made the food quickly which is a plus.

Im gobsmacked! This is the best South Indian food I've had in the States so far! I highly recommend the masala dosa and malabar parota - these dishes tasted like it came straight from a local restuarant in Kerala, India.

ordered kanda poha and masala tea.
masal tea - average can skip it.
poha - too good and portionize was huge. I could only eat 30% even when I was really hungry. would love the option for poha without onion.

Udupi Palace is hands-down the best Indian restaurant in SF. Aloo Matar is delicious. So flavorful and hits the spot every time. Great staff, great service. If you like So Indian cuisine, Udupi Palace is your place!
