Stuck home for my birthday, pregnant and sick, and all I wanted was sushi. I didnt realize the Monkey Brain had spicy tuna but honestly soooo worth it, made my birthday amazing and scratched that craving itch!! I also called and asked them to include extra sauce and they did. 10000/10

honey salmon roll has amazing taste and texture if you want some cooked sushi! I love their philadelphia roll, always fresh and delicious. Ramen is always a favorite for my family! I've NEVER tried anything I didn't like at Umami! It's been a family favorite for 7 years!

15/10. I live for this place. I stumbled upon Umami after having to drop off uniforms, and I'm so glad I was paying attention. They have been nothing but delicious and consistent. It's definitely a small restaurant, but the atmosphere and customer service is 10/10. They're always so sweet and attentive. And the food... It's always top notch. Ramen is my absolute favorite thing, and Umami's is is the best I've had in forever. The sushi itself is always so fresh and delicious. The sushi chef takes his time to really make every order perfect. The portion sizes are average for the type of food, but are packed with flavor in every bite. This is my favorite place in Fayetteville, and it would take an act of Congress to change my mind.

First time ordering here. The chashu is sooooo tender. The light charred edges gives it that extra umph for me (I like to BBQ a lot) the broth feels/tastes balanced. Noodles have that springy consistency that reminds me of RaRas in Sasebo Japan and yeah what's not to love.
But I will say this. Ordering through DD muted the flavor a smidge. So nextime I'll go in person to get a more fresh taste of the spice ramen I ordered. And will remember to ask to hold the corn.
Would order again and recommend.

I usually love the ramen here. But the Tokyo Style Tonkotsu Ramen is supposed to come with Chashu Pork. All I got was a small slice of *pure* fat. No meat. The Sapporo Style Spicy Miso Ramen had two full slices of pork, but the Tonkotsu did not, it literally just had a slice of fat.
