I really enjoyed my Chicken & Steak meal. The portion was more than adequate. The miso soup was soothing and flavorful. The fried rice was perfectly prepared and authentically flavored. The vegetables were varied and flavorful, with a healthy portion of shitake mushrooms included. The chopsticks in the bag were a welcome surprise. This meal left me with a desire to explore the rest of the menu. The only complaint I had was that the meat was a little on the dry side. Otherwise, the meal was perfect.

The food tasted good, but it was way too pricey for the small amount I received. The Miso Soup was only half full. The tuna Tuna Dumplings were tiny and were nothing like pictured on the menu. I won't be ordering from here again.

The Beef Tataki was absolutely delicious and quite refreshing on the palette. It had such a yummy savory and spicy flavor! Would definitely order again. Also, the Dancing Roll was on point. Highly recommend Umami, it's the best sushi in Lake Charles.

Spicy Lady Roll is hands downs the best roll on the menu
Crunch Roll is so fresh and the eel sauce makes it out of this world
Gyoza is good, I just wish there was more of them
