Best sushi in San Diego for sure. So many unique and yummy rolls! the sashimi was big and so fresh; just melts jn your mouth. It is off of Shelter Island Dr... kinda hidden from main street Rosecrans but as a local, let me tell you.. you are missing out if you haven't tried this place. My favorite is the Umi house roll and the viking set. Very much recommended by the locals; a hidden gem that's been around for a long time. I think they just started on DoorDash since I am the first to review for a restaurant that's been around like 20yrs..

My favorite place in San Diego! Sushi and other items are always very fresh and tasty. Portions are great. We always go there with my whole family and we order delivery, and Umi never disappoints. My husband always gets Umi tower, I love sweet and sour roll the most, my mom looooves their orange chicken, my 2 year old is fond of their fried rice. We are forever customers at Umi and we'll be back again!

Best sushi place ever. I tried several rolls (so many roll omg). Each one was very well made and tasty. The Nigiri was so fresh as well. They have Toro and Uni Nigiri with fresh wasabi I never tried before. Best thing I have ever tasted for sure. I noticed many groups of people come here. They serve in these big boats and really pretty platters for large group orders. It was so cool! I am definitely coming back and this place will be my doordash go to whenever I crave Sushi.

I enjoyed everything in this delivery order. We had Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box, Seaweed Salad, Deep Fried Gyoza, and Beef Yakisoba. Everything was delicious. Portions were generous. Lots of good tempora vegetables with the bento box.
