• 2/7/24I had the 1/2 brisket sandwich with coleslaw
and cabbage soup. Its Half Sandwich & Soup Combo
There is a great selection for this. This combo I really enjoy. The cabbage soup has chunks of tender meat in it which is not normally found at other deli's. I got an 8 oz tub of very fresh and tasty coleslaw.
This can easily be 2 meals if you know how to divide it smartly.

• 11/14/25The Corned Beef & Cabbage was excellent; the Meatloaf was OK, but a little too soft. Great care was taken in packing the condiments; cold items were kept separate from hot, and all ingredients were really fresh. I've ordered pastrami here in the past and it was the best I've ever eaten. All in all this restaurant is top notch and I will definitely be returning.

• 7/6/22The matzo ball soup is absolutely stupendous. It is packed with fresh vegetables and noodles in addition to the gigantic matzoh ball. The sweet-and-sour cabbage soup is delicious. We are both very happy with our order. It arrived warm and quickly. Perfect in every way.

• 5/11/24I had Half Sandwich & Soup Combo. I selected the sweet and sour cabbage soup and brisket sandwich. The soup came with a bag of toasted bagel chips, and the sandwich was accompanied with a good size container of fantastic coleslaw and homemade pickles.
The 1/2 sandwich was filled with three inches thick thinly sliced brisket. Two people could split it for lunch. The meat was just perfect too. Not too lean nor fat. The soup was very flavorful, full with chunks of tender meat and a meal by itself. The whole experience was wonderful. I absolutely recommend!

• 1/30/24I ordered 1/2 a sandwich on rye and a (sweet and sour cabbage) soup. I also ordered a potato knish. Every item was fantatic.
The soup had lots of chunks of tender meat and it was sweet, tangy with a hint of heat.
The soup on its own was a meal. The potato knish is huge. It has a great appearance. The soup and knish can make a meal for 2 meals.
The rye bread was very fresh and came with a lot of meat and this was 1/2 a sandwich. The sandwich comes with a side. I selected coleslaw and it was a lot more than you normally get and it was so good and fresh. Of course pickles accompanied the sandwich. I prefer my pickles less vinegary and more salty but, most people probably would prefer the version offered.
With the exception of the pickles wichawere ok ll items were absolutely stellar .
