This was our first time eating the food here, or any vegan restaurant. I didn't tell my meat-eating husband I was ordering food from a vegan place because I wanted his honest opinion of the food without judgment. The verdict...Well, let's just say you converted my meat eating husband to your vegan orange chicken. He commented that he prefers it over other local Chinese restaurants' orange chicken. Wow! Batter was so light and crispy. Yellow Curry was also flavorful and delish; fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce... yum! in fact everything we ate was so tasty! To our pleasant surprise, if this is vegan food, we've been missing out! We had a lot of food, but I don't feel gross after eating a filling meal like I usually would. The food was such a refreshing change. Exceeded my expectations. Definitely eating here again!! Two thumbs way up!

Fresh Rolls were simple and tasty. I tasted a little basil in them, which I love. I would love a little mint as well. If I were making these, I would marinate and grill the tofu to give it better texture and some flavor. Kind of like tofu satay style! It would be fun if they had different variations of these. Takeout portion is a bit smaller.

Hibiscus juice is BOMB. Chow mein was mid, and Orange Chicken was no good--very tough soy chicken with tons of breading, way more breading than anything else. I've had many vegan orange  chicken dishes around LA and this one was a hard pass.

Ohmigosh! I've had this several times before (and liked it) but asked for additional veggies this time instead of the soy (plant-based meat) and asked to add mushrooms and: WOAH! This is absolutely DELICIOUS! Wow. Definitely impressed! Thank you

The food at vegan thyme is always fresh and delicious. They combine textures and spices very well. Every dish I have ever ordered here has been tasty. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean, open, and airy.
