My husband is from an Italian New York family. This is the closest thing to a traditional home cooked meal we have had here. Chicken Scarpellais phenomenal.Chicken Parmigiana was super flavorful. Margherita Pizza was good hot and cold the next day. Limcello Mascarpone Cake was super authentic.

Shrimp Florentine was awful. The pasta was overcooked and mushy and drenched in Alfredo sauce. They also did not follow my instructions to replace the fettuccine noodles with linguine. The garlic cheese bread was bland and not worth the $7-8 it cost.

Ordered a pizza with 3 toppings, 2 at $2 each and Italian sausage at $4 (!) and there was barely enough of each to cover the pie. If you are going to charge that much for toppings, I'd like to have slices that look like more than a slice of plain cheese.
Very disappointed.

Verona's Baked Ziti is fantastic! One of the few places in the area that uses ricotta cheese in it- and it's the right amount of ricotta too! Tastes just like back home- good ol' Long Island italian ziti. It's great comfort food too! ♥︎
My SO gets the Chicken Parmigiana Sub from here and considers it one of the better places for chicken parm in the area!
Verona also has delicious garlic bread which they've been giving us generous helpings of lately!
