A little disappointed! What a great treat it used to be to get to go to Village Bakery! The brownies were absolutely the best ever! Today a disappointing "were all out of brownies." Rarely ever were they out in years past. No Another wwere out! The donuts are a miniature facsimile of what the donuts were previously. Ah the famous thumbprint cookies were such a treat! Now they're a dollar each and don't taste as good. I'm not sure what all has happened but you get less of everything but the price! Smaller donuts, out of the signature brownies, out of the tasty cinnamon twists, less quality on the thumbprint cookies but plenty more cost!

This absolutely pains me to write this. The Village Bake Shop has been my go-to bakery my entire life. 60+ years. Over the last year I have watched and tasted the product go down hill. My order today is a perfect example. Mounds cake, brownies, cookies all of it was stale. Spent $50 and will be throwing most of it away. So disappointed. Stale and dry cake and brownies, soft and stale thumbprint cookies. Just disappointed.

So much of my order was unavailable and I wasn't offered substitutions. What I got was not worth the price imo. I probably won't order from there again.
