Villanorte really stands out on DoorDash. The food arrived fresh and clearly just made — not greasy, not heavy, and definitely not like a chain. Everything tasted homemade in the best way.
What surprised me most is how clean it feels. I’ve never ordered Mexican food and actually felt good afterward until now. Full of flavor without being oily or overdone. It’s comforting without being too much.
They also sell homemade tamales, which is huge. You don’t even need to go to downtown Detroit for good tamales anymore. I just had a dozen delivered and, honestly, the quality was unreal, better than a lot of places people swear by. Fresh made daily, their grandmothers recipe, and clearly not mass-produced.
You can tell care goes into every part of the food, the salsas, the rice, the tacos, street corn. If you’re tired of generic Mexican options and want something that feels real and thoughtfully made, Villanorte is worth ordering. This is going into my regular rotation.

I've had the fish tacos.. el dorado?, Enchiladas Rojas, Single Tamal, and all were so very delicious! Will definitely order again when I'm in need of a treat! The tacos have been my absolute fav so far! Thank you so much!!

i ordered the quesadilla with griled chicken it was delicious......and will definitely make a point of going into their physical restaurant to try their other offerings.....the reason behind a 4 stars vs 5 star is the fact that that the prices are higher on the door dash menu vs their menu online......case in point the quesadilla ordered on door dash is $11.50 w/chicken it's an additional $4.05 compared to dining in....the same quesadilla is $8.50 w/chicken it's only $3.00 more......not sure who is to blame....all i can say is buyer beware.....

The corn quesadilla was small and should have been the same size as flour. they could have used double the tortillas.

Guacamole is very tasty and fresh, Chicken Flautas are pretty good salsa is fresh and delicious
