I really enjoyed the VINNYS HALF POUNDER; it jus felt like an honest to goodness burger with a nice bun. No over the top styling or ingredients, just a solid burger you'd expect at a humble cookout. Sometimes simple is better, and this was a solid treat that brings back the nostalgia of family grilling.
My boyfriend got the BLACKENED CHICKEN PRIMAVERA and said he really enjoyed it, which given that he's one of the pickiest eaters I've ever met who comes from an Italian family, that's a compliment.
Given our experience, I'm going to want to give this place a try again in the future

Really good food. Pasta was perfect eldente and the sause was great (onions needed more time to be less crunchy) the pizza NY Slice best I've had since in New York. And all was hit and fresh portions of the VODKA RIGATONI was huge ! I'll use them again !

after living in nyc for 40 years, moving to Virginia has been quite an adjustment as though pizza and Italian food has left a lot to be desired. I'm happy I found pennies they have but I would consider New York style pizza that's good, consistent and they're extremely friendly if you need to call and make a special request.

Vinny’s Italian Grill & Pizza is dangerously good. Their cheese pizza is the kind of classic that ruins you for all others—crispy crust, tangy sauce, and a glorious blanket of melted cheese that makes you question why you ever settled for frozen. It’s simple, perfect, and slightly addictive.
The steak and cheese subs? Let’s just say if I were ever stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing, I’d strongly consider one of these subs. They’re packed, melty, and somehow taste like they were made by someone who truly understands the human soul.
And the Stromboli… oh, the Stromboli. It’s like a pizza and a calzone had a delicious baby and raised it with love and garlic. Golden crust, generous fillings, and the kind of portion that makes you say “I’ll save half for later” and then immediately not do that.
Vinny’s doesn’t just serve food—they serve edible joy. If carbs are wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Look at the size of the meatballs. The salad is fresh and crisp. The sauce is excellent.
