We were introduced to the crepe culture not only in France but also other western European and Mediterranean countries. Our love of crepes and coffee became irreversible and we opened our first crepe …
I only ordered the lentil soup at Vivel because I was stuck at work with a broken-down car, absolutely desperate for a mocha, and it felt a little odd to just order a drink. The soup was reasonably priced, so I added it almost as an afterthought — and then it completely stole the show.
From the first spoonful, it was incredibly flavorful, with a depth and warmth that tasted slow-simmered and carefully layered rather than thrown together. Instead of the common gritty texture lentils often have, this was silky, hearty, and beautifully smooth, so each bite felt indulgent rather than “healthy punishment.” I was pleasantly shocked at how satisfying it was; the portion was so generous and filling that I could only finish half of it at lunch and actually looked forward to attacking the rest for dinner.
The mocha was pretty dope, too.

Vivel has the best panini and crepes in Texas!
I get a modified classic but add ricotta, walnuts and berry sauce. They made them extra stuffed with bananas and strawberries. So yummy!

If the sandwich had been thicker than 1.5 inches, I might give it 5 stars. However, for a 15+ $ panini, the quality of the ingredients are sub par. Barely any cheese or anything else for that matter. The bread is actually thicker than the ingredients in the middle. I've had it before and the panini was great . Today, no. Step it up, Vivel. Youte better than this.

Crepe version of the Chef's omelette with extra mushrooms and cheese is great, also hashbrown patties are always cooked perfect

Strawberries were rotten- too old; bananas also too ripe/mushy in classic crepe. Crepe itself was tasty as usual without the fruit (had to pull off the fruit and just eat crepe alone),
